For my twenty-first Wisdom Wednesday, I am going to write about something that has been a mantra for so many young people. I am going to write about something that was so big a few years ago. I am going to write about "YOLO" or how "You Only Live Once".
The whole feeling behind this saying is that you only get one live to live, you only get one chance, so make the most of it. You need to take advantage of every opportunity that you get in your life, and if you don't then you might have just wasted your opportunity.
You need to attack life with a certain amount of energy, because if you do then you will go after the chances in life, and you will succeed, I have no questions about that. If you take a certain amount of charge in your life, then there is nothing that you can't put your mind to, and that is what You Only Live Once is about.
It really took off as a saying for teenagers in 2012, after it was mentioned as YOLO in a Drake song called "The Motto". The problem was, idiots were doing crazy things like jumping off large buildings and actually dying because of doing stupid things. That has died down drastically these days, but you can still hear some people say YOLO when they are going to do something questionable.
Anyways, I hope that this was a good post, and that you all enjoyed it. I had some fun writing this one, so I hope that it was fun reading it!
