This park is right past the Empire State Building a little bit, but right at the base of two building that you can see from a mile away in the city. It is right at the base of the New York Life Building, and a building that has a huge analog clock on the side of it. It is also right next to the Flatiron Building. It is in such a cool place in the city. Its no so much downtown, and its not so much midtown either. It is a really cool place to go and hang out.
The main attraction to the park is the original Shake Shack. Now anyone that knows me in real life knows that I am a cheeseburger connoisseur. I have consistently ranked Shake Shack number two all-time in my favorite burgers, right behind All-American Burger here on Long Island.
My family, would jump in the car on a lazy Friday or Saturday, and go into the city, and go to Shake Shack there. The lines are long, but the food is SO GOOD! In the years since in opened, there is one right next to Times Square, and my new favorite musical to go see, 'Something Rotten'. There is also one in Citi Field, (Thank God!), and one right near Roosevelt Field, like two miles away from my house. (I know right... and I am going there today with my friends!)
I love going to Madison Square Park, because you see so many types of different people. There is the rich businessmen and women. There is the guy from the Village or Soho coming uptown. There are the people like me who are from out of the city, but from the Island. It's so cool, plus again, that Shake Shack calls me in.
So that is one of my favorite places to go to in the city for food. I hope you enjoyed it!
Have you ever been to Madison Square Park? Have you ever gone to Shake Shack? Would you want to?
