The lyrics are so beautiful. The first verse says, "Wise man says, Only fools rush in, but I Can't Help, Falling In Love, with you." Then the second verse says, "Shall I stay? Would it be a sin? If I Can't Help Falling In Love with you." Then the bridge says, "Like a river flows, surely to the sea. Darling so it goes, somethings are meant to be." Then the third verse says, "Take my hand, take my whole life too. For I Can't Help Falling In Love with you." Then the bridge and third verse repeats again, and then the song ends.
These lyrics have such a great message. What it is saying is that a wise man has come up to a guy, and told him that he shouldn't rush into love, but he just can't help himself from doing so. He is then nervous to stay, but again, he can't help himself. Then he says like a river flows to the sea, the love between them is meant to be. Then he says take his hand, and in doing so, you'll take his whole life too, and then they will both fall in love.
I love in this song, how Elvis leaves his Jailhouse Rock and Hound Dog style behind, and channels his inner Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin, and sings this song with so much passion.
I hope that you all enjoy this song as much as I did!
Did you like this song? Do you think that this song has a great message behind it? Would you ever play this song to your significant other?
