This song is sung by Lou Monte, in the sense the reindeer don't help Santa around from house to house, when he arrives in Italy. Instead, he uses an old Donkey, named Dominick. He helps deliver all of the gifts, but the best part about the song is the chorus, when Monte sings, "Chigity-Ching" and then he says one of the funniest things around, "Hee-Haw, Hee-Haw, It's Dominick the Donkey.", then he goes "The Italian Christmas Donkey", then a bunch of la-la-ing goes on.
This song is so much fun to sing around the Christmas season. Coming from a very Italian family, this song gets a lot of singing and air time in my house. There really is not anything else that I can add to this blog post. This song is very great, and I love it to bits. I am currently in line to go see Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, so thats why this blog post is three and a half hours late, and it is also very short. I will tell you all how the new movie is tomorrow, in the intro of the next blog.
Have you ever listened to this song before? Is there any song that means a lot for your family?
